Calculation of rolling parameters
This calculator allows, as a first approximation, to determine the spread of a rectangular strip during hot rolling on cylindrical rolls in a wide range of sizes, as well as power parameters of the process. To calculate the strip width at the exit of the rolls, simply enter the required parameters according to the figure. If the contact angles of the metal with the roll less than 0.5 and more than 30 degrees, the calculation will not be correct.
